Please use a standard 5V/1A USB C charging port with the included cable to make sure a safe and efficient charging. Some fast chargers may cause unstable charging or fail to charge properly due to the different charging protocols. Do l need to use the tether? Yes, since the FR500 adds 101g to your setup, it's best to fasten your bike computer with the included tether in case of unexpected bumps or vibrations.
