(current noise) 1.JOYO engineer said R-28 must be paired with a dedicated power supply for pedals (stable current & good shielding). 2.Bassists need to set knob parameters properly (do not turn them to the maximum) to eliminate noise caused by high gain of bass. How to Determine if "Buzz/Hum" Is Caused by a High-Gain Bass (Due to Improper Knob Settings)? 1.Since bass is already high-gain (dual-coil/active), pedal needs to have its gain reduced; otherwise, pedal is prone to interference, which can cause current noise. 2.Also check if noise is caused by amp, poor grounding, or poor cables.
