No, you can’t set the current time or adjust for daylight saving time with this timer. It’s a cycle timer that works on short or long intervals. If you do need to set the current time, you can check out another model we have—T319. Does this timer retain programmed settings during a power outage? Yes, even in the event of a power outage, the timer will retain its programmed settings. Please note that once power is restored, the timer will resume the program based on the state just before the outage. Is this timer waterproof? Yes, it’s waterproof in structure and material. However, please make sure the nuts are snugly tightened onto the timer’s bolts for 100% waterproofing. For outdoor use, mount the timer vertically and position it at least 2 feet above the ground. Why isn’t it working as programmed? The light sensor has a 12-minute delay to prevent interference from light sources like flashlights or car headlights. Also, if you use the light-sensing function indoors, please make sure to keep it away from light interference.
