It "clicks locked" every 15° to adjust to a range of pipes or posts. Attach the 340 Postrite via magnet, elastic strap, or hang hole. This level has 3 brightly colored cylindrical vials, including 2 horizontal and 1 vertical, to provide clear and accurate readings. Can the 340 check a flat, level surface? Yes, the 340 can adjust to 180°. However, if you are looking for high accuracy, you might want to check out an actual level like the 985 Apollo. Does this product come with a strap? Yes, it does. Can the 340 level T-posts? As the 340 adjusts, it could probably work with standard t-posts. We would recommend supporting the fit with its strap as well. What size posts will it fit? We recommend using the magnets or hang hole if the post is over 2X2. Larger posts, like the 4X4 or 6X6 are not suited to using the strap.
